Hello all, it has been a while since I have been on here to giv an update.

I am still fighting the military medical system, getting no where fast though.

My LLMD wants me on IV but until the military acknowledges my DX I can not do anything drastic.

So far I was on Ceftin for 1 month. Then Rifampin for 1 month.

The third month was then Rifampin and Catsclaw.

And NOW I am on 1000mg of Tetracycline and 400mg of Plaquenil daily + catsclaw.

Needless to say I feel as though I am wasting away.

Headaches are worse then ever. Chest pains and tightness. But the thing that is the worst is the random pain that strikes anywhere and everywhere. [Eek!]

On top of the nausea and dry heaves, [puke] I developed a sort of restless leg type syndrom that makes sleep at night seriously laking. [sleepy]

Does anyone know what it feels like the moment before you pass out? lights in the room get dim, your face gets numb followed by the rest of your body. THIS WAS MY ENTIRE DAY TODAY. [dizzy]

Anyway thanks for letting me vent a little.

Anyone else on this combination and have any pointers for me? OR what I might have yet to experience?

Loves and best wishes, Hope everyone else is fairing well. [group hug]

restless leg type syndrom
tight chest

Had both of these that went away after 2 months of babesia treatment.

Have you been tested for Babesia?

Mepron and Zithromax is a great treatment for babesia and will help with Lyme as well.

Hey Tracy,

Yup I was tested twice for babesia and was negative both times.

only positive for lyme and bart.

I hope this goes away soon! I cant call in sick to work and Being sick is not an excuse for low performance. Fake it till you make it only lasts so long. [bonk]

Hi Proud,
I just posted a post similar to yours, titled, "almost fainting". I have this problem too. Everything starts to dim and voices start to get far away sounding. But I dont actually faint. Just feel like Im going to.
And I have also gotten the restless leg thing going too lately. Its weird though its not just in my legs. Its in my stomach and bladder too. That weird feeling. I cant explain it. I cant sleep either.
Anyways, I dont have any great answers for you, I just wanted you to know I understand, and you're not alone.

Thanks LisaS [Big Grin]

I was worried it might be a bad side effect of the abx.
[confused]

Im not on any abx right now. So its not because of that for me. But everyone reacts to them differently. So dont count that out.

Unfortunately with this disease its hard to figure out what is lyme symptoms, abx reactions, or herxing.

But I hope you feel better soon, whatever it is!
