Hi, I am new to this board and need help badly. I was diagnosed

w/ Interstitial Cystitis 6 years ago. My symptoms are bladder

burning, urinary frequency/urgency, hormonal issues, GI issues,

VERY distended abdomen, weight gain. I have had all the tests,

MRIs, etc. Nothing ever. My most recent Igenex is as follows:

IgM Borderline positive

18 +

30 + (but 30 confirmation test showed negative for Lyme)

34 IND

39 IND

41 ++

58 +

83-93 +

IgG Negative

34 IND

41 ++

I have a LLMD who I trust. He seems to be treating me to see if

I respond. I am on IV Rocephin 2 grams/day. This is my 3rd

week. I can barely handle 2 grams so he is keeping me there.

My bladder symptoms are OUT OF CONTROL since the Rocephin

and I am fatigued, which I never have been prior to the

Rocephin. My natural doctor does a lot of kinesiology and says I

don't have Lyme and that I don't have any of the symptoms. I

am so confused. I am miserable in every area of my life and

can't function, which I'm sure you all understand. Any thoughts,

please?!

Jeni,

My daughter had so many bladder issues: burning urination, frequency, accidents, etc.

Guess what: lyme colonized her eurethra! She's been in treatment and she's MUCH MUCH better.

Your symptoms may be exacerbated because you could be experiencing a herxheimer reaction-- when lyme dies off it makes you feel worse because it releases toxins.

Hang in there, but be sure to report all symptoms to your llmd.
