Hi All,

Has anybody ever heard of this for determining whether you abx is working?

She said according to the kinesiology, she should change my abx.

My LLMD called it the "muscle test" and quite frankly, it was very weird.

She is a very noted LLMD from Jackson, however, I just had a hard time believing this stuff.

She also recommended Zri juice which is $120 for 4 bottles.

Not sure I have faith anymore in the reality of my treatment at this point!

Has anyone ever heard of this?

It's weird and controversial but my LLMD is a big believer in it and he says it is the ONE thing that has never failed him.

He successfully treated me, my mother, my brother, sister-in-law and about 40 other people we sent to him.

I think the key to muscle testing is to be confident in the actual "muscle tester." I trust my 100%!

This is an effective way to find out if you can or cannot tolerate certain abx AND also effective to find out if illness' are in remission.

My LLMD relies on this method, along with clinical symptoms MORE than the unreliable testing.

Hope that helps!

Thank you Clarissa.

My husband thinks the LLMD is a fruit!

But it is good to know that someone has good experiences with it.

It really is diffucult to believe that this type of practice is effective.

I have started on zithromax today because evidently biaxin xl was not really working--according to how I feel, and the "muscle test."

I will be very interested to see if after 30 days the zith works and she was right!

Thank you again for your information. At least it makes me feel a little better about it.

Could I ask what state you are from?

Yes, I believe in it. It works and I would throw away every conventional test I ever took and still be in the same place in my healing as long as I had my muscle testing - in fact, I would probably be further back to be honest.

Be well,

I'm in FL my LLMD is in NY.

I couldn't tolerate Biaxin AT ALL. I didn't tell him this to "test" this muscle thingy.

My arm went flying down weakly and other times it stayed up nice and strong.

The time it went down weakly is when I was, unknowingly, holding the vial with Biaxin.

There ya go!

Muscle testing is only as good as the tester. I have had good and horrible experiences with it.

An absulute YES on that for me. I was just diagnosed after 15yrs of having Lyme.

I have so many things wrong and am so sick, I honestly don't believe I will EVER get rid of it.
I went to see a Chiro / Kenesiologist at my Therapist's request.

He came highly recomended. Withen 10min of muscle testing he asked if I had ever been tested for Lyme. I was not surprised since I had suscpected that myself.

All the specialists, MD's and Family docs had NEVER bothered to test me or even pick up on it. Even when I sugested it.

So he was RIGHT on the money. I thank God every day that I went to see him. [bow]

I have everything muscle tested before I take it, including qty. I believe that is why I have never had the bad herxes that I hear about.

I do agree about some are better than others at it.

To you muscle testers, I have a question:

I am planning on getting my chiropractor, who practices muscle testing, to test me on a bunch of antibiotics and anti-babesia meds, and cyst busters (like Flagyl), etc.

She already tests me on supplements, and the ones she picks make me feel better! It is almost instant results after I take some of them.

So here is my question: some of the drugs we may "need" will probably result in a Herx, which makes us feel weaker (or just crappy). When something tests good on me, she always says, "see, that made you stronger." So I am worried....will those ones that will help me in the end fight off these infections not muscle test as being "good" because at first they will make me feel sick?

Hope you guys see where I am going with that.

I mean, if there are ones that will make me feel better while I am on them, great....but what I really want is something that will eradicate the infection even when I'm off it. Will those test well?

All that said, I don't think muscle testing is "fishy" if the practitioner is skilled.

But, to the original poster: I don't think many LLMD's out there would recommend being on a medicine that is helping you for only 30 days. You may need to be on certain drugs for a few months to be sure they completely do their job. Keep that in mind.

While muscle testing is great, be sure this doc also understands that serious lyme requires a certain standard of care and shouldn't be taken lightly. The goal should be eradicating it for good, not feeling better than going right off them.

Wow, I am amazed at all this information! Never new such testing existed. I guess you can tell I am new to the lymeworld.

Now I dont feel as though it was trick to induce positive thinking, or something to fake me out.

Thank you all for the feedback and it has restored my confidence in my LLMD. She does come highly recommended and is quite a veteran in the lyme arena.

I see the same LLMD and I have to ask her to muscle test me next time I see her.... LOL.... I know she does this, she did it once for me before, but not in awhile.

I know it all sounds crazy and I was a complete non-believer, but it does work!
