I have been treated for chronic Lyme's, Babesiosis and Bartonella for ten years but travel to Holland to bury my brother has brought me back to square one.I will be getting a central line in by next week and long term Vanco/Tindamax will be giving another shot at helping me. I have tried just about everything under the sun, but my system is allergis to most meds and I need to build up my immune system. It has been very difficult to find a diet which I can tolerate, which is below 20 carbs daily. Does anyone have suggestions as to what kind of bread, butter or smart balance, cream or 2 % milk or other product availabe to make life better. I seem to have contious infections with yeast, thrush and fungal infections. Also, what are the necessary requirements for supllements and vitamins, probiotics, CoQ10, etc. Any suggestion is appreciated.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. Have you been on ABX for 10 years? Try eating lots of yogurt. They do make it with goat milk. However, I do not tolerate dairy but am able to ear yogurt fine.

So sorry to hear about your brother. There is a bread called Manna Bread which has no yeast and is made from whole grain berries. It is small and heavy but filling.

Yogurt does not contain enough of the probiotics for Lyme patients. Then you add the sugar of the dairy and you're in big trouble before too long.
