I was doing really well, now I'm backsliding. I have been on bactrim for almost a year (with zith) for bart/babs. I'm thinking of switching to malarone or mepron-what herbs can I take to keep the bart down?

My main lingering symptoms are tight chest, fatigue, occasional shortness of breath and POTS< which is gone some days, bad on others.

Anyone get rid of babs with juwt bactrim?

Hi Shoney

The good effect of bactrim dose ware off -
for me it was about 8 months -

You did take Artemisinin also ?? (ART)

Its important to take Art it helps in
preventing relapse -

You can get Mepron for free from
-- Bridges to Access . com --

They are real nice and helpful -

Many of the Quinine type meds help with Babs-

You can drink Tonic Water -Amazingly it helps

Tonic water has a small amount of Quinine
in it -buy at store by the beer-Mixers section-
Get the diet kind - 1 to 2 liters aday -

Did the effects of bactrim wear off 8 months after you stopped taking it, or while you were on it?

My LLMD wants me to take bactrim/zith for 1 week, then malarone/zith for the next, and keep alternating.

Why did I think that you should not take tetracycline, doxy, or mino with mepron.... I thought it lowered the absorbance???
