Has anyone ever tried Cats Claw.

I have a NaturalPath Dr and she suggested in for treatment in Lyme.

Cat's Claw is one of the herbs in Buhner's core protocol for Lyme. I have taken it for awhile along with andrographis and resveratrol.

Never had any results with it. Do a search here on Samento and cats claw. You'll find tons of info.

I've tried both Cat's Claw and Samento (also Cat's Claw but TOA-free). Never really noticed much with either. Didn't have a herx from either, so don't know if either one did much for me.

i stopped abx and started cats claw/samento in march.

i do herx from it and i am doing better.

however, i think it will have a cieling effect with me. There are some symptoms that have gotten better (fatigue, brain fog) and others that have gotten worse (pms and headaches).

i'm not up to the recommended dose yet-i've had to increase very slowly with it. my year old son uses it too and we have seen improvement with him

Stephanie,
I really don't know. I haven't started any real hard core lyme treatment yet (Aug 5th). Only have taken doxy.

So far on anything, I don't find myself to be a herxer. I do know that the LLMD I am going to is big on herbs, some of which I already take.

I think you have to have all the pieces to put the puzzle together. Hope to get there some day.

Let's put it this way, certainly wouldn't hurt to take it.

Good luck,
Linda
