My 17 month old has congenital lyme from me and he is heading into his fourth month of antibiotic treatment. Does anyone have/had a baby with lyme or congenital lyme that was not caught and treated right away (we didn't know about my son's lyme until he was 14 months old) and now they're cured? I have to know that it isn't too late for my son. Did we catch this in time? I can't bear the thought that he might have to live with this disease the rest of his life or that he might suffer in any way from this disease. Please, please, please...I'm so scared and worried.

lymer, so sorry to read about this; but i think personally you have a really good chance that he can be cured or get REMISSION.
there are many congenital moms on this board. i can't remember who has babies or not!
at the top of medical, look for a post from me, bettyg, subject....my NEWBIE PACKAGE WITH TABLE OF CONTENTS!
please mark that in your favorites, and if you block copy the entire thing, you can search for things quickly using EDIT, FIND...
there are at least 2-6 links about congenital lyme; so look for them; you'll find where it is mentioned in my TABLE OF CONTENTS,
good luck finding it...
friendly reminder, to break up ALL posts/replies if you want help from us or we SOB, SCROLL ON BY, since we can't read as is ok!
