Is it probable if I'm experiencing chills that I am herxing?

Clint,
I had chills before I started abx. Not really since. How long have you been treating?

I have been on ABx for two weeks today. Had the chills about the last 5 or 6 days on and off, along with other herxing symptoms. The only symptoms that are bothering me today are the chills.

Clint,

Stick with your treatment. Your antibiotics are getting into deeper and deeper levels of this infection, and that is a great sign! I have high hopes for you.

Also, the other explanation could be that as the Lyme is dying down, other tick diseases that are not being treated are coming to the forefront and making you have chills. I would say this is the less likely option though.

So, it is good to just stick with your current plan of testing for the coinfections later if things don't get better.

Congrats, you are killing more bugs! It looks like your Doxy is working and that is great. Stick with it......the 3 week mark is supposed to be a time when a lot happens (right, guys???)

Yes, Yes.. I had them for 2 months, I usually rested as sometimes, the chills would turn into shaking if I did not.

Chills could be a sign of Babesia. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Yes.. while waiting for my IgeneX results to come back my regular dr put me on Amox. 850 mg twice a day for a sinus infection.
3 days later I was in bed with SEVERE chills, flu like symptoms, goose bumps that hurt...

Chills can definitely be a sign of herxing
