I need some breakfast ideas since I can't eat dairy for breakfast while taking doxy.

Anything I would normally eat has some type of dairy in it.

Right now I am eating eggs and toast, or toast with peanut butter.

Any ideas???

Those are both good ideas. For a while I was having soy protein shakes (check for dairy content) with a piece of toast. It was really good, and carried me through the morning.

Also, morningstar farms makes great veggie sausage, which has all the protein of regular sausage but less fat/chol. Try that with a whole grain waffle? Just an idea.

Hey Clint - you maybe misunderstood your doctor. Do not take Doxy with Dairy.
Dairy binds to Doxy and makes it not work.
If you must have Dairy - you must wait 2 hours.

My quickie in the morning - because I'm always late for work - Pillsbury Toaster Strudels
Cherry, raspberry and blueberry (not strawberry and cheese)
Yumm...
I know it's sugar - but it's ok sometimes. [Smile]

Best of Health

I eat toast with coconut oil and almond butter every morning for breakfast.

Sometimes I'll eat again in a couple hours, usually a whey protein smoothie.
