as soon as i wake up in the morning, my head and chest start sweating. i mean very heavy. i have to use a washcloth. the sweat literally pours off my forehead and beads up.

i know fort worth is running 100 to 102 degrees but i'm inside.

i am not on hormones. i think i'll have to go back on them as they might help right?

i don't have body odor just heavy sweating. is there anything i can do for this?

i'm on biaxin, cipro, and flagyl.

I sweat heavily early in the morning, at least until I am able to have a bowel movement. Once I have a bowel movement, it slows down a bit, but will later recur throughout the day, regardless of whether I am standing outside in 90 degree temps with high humidity, or inside in 75 degrees with low humidity.

My thymus gland, my hands, feet, groin, back, the insides of my elbows and knees, the underside of the back of my head, temples - all these things gush sweat.

I don't even feel like showering is worth it anymore, since I even sweat in the shower some days.

I don't just attribute my sweating to Lyme though. If you sweat a lot, you may have an even bigger problem...

But daysweats, nightsweats - I have them all. I would advise against hormones though, as you are only treating symptoms. If your body has shut off a hormone, chances are it is trying to keep you alive. Trust it.

I was having something very similar to this although mine would also happen at night when I would seriously soak a bed with all the sweating.

For me, it turned out to be babesiosis. Have you done any treatment for that? It would be things like zith and mepron....or malarone, etc, etc, etc.

I tested negative for babs, but due to many symptoms, my LLMD treated me for it anyway and sure enough, I haven't had that going on since.

I am NOT a doctor, so only talking about my own personal experience, but hopefully you can get to the root of it since it's definitely not comfortable.

I have a HUGE sweating problem. It was much worse until I started Mepron 2 weeks ago. It has made a big difference although I still get covered with sweat from head to toe several times a day. It used to be all day every day. I had to constantly change my clothes. I was miserble.
I am grateful for what Mepron is doing for now.
Blessings,
just jan

I had mild sweating issues and felt very warm all the time until I started Mepron as well. I have been on it for 9 days and already notice a difference both in my body temperature day and night. It is in the triple digits right now and I am able to run my thermostat at 5 degrees higher than a couple of weeks ago. I'm also not waking up hot in the middle of the night either. However, if I get in a truly warm place, like a building where the AC isn't working, I still sweat more than I used to.

Babs treatment is certainly helping the issue.

I get the sweats at random not drenching though. It is the babs for me.

It has become less frequent with treament but always gets worse during my babs herxes.

I hope it improves for you soon I know it is annoying. [group hug]

I notice I sweat way more easily, not profusely but more often. Whenever I nap or sleep, that's when it's more prominent. I hate that because it reminds me of my Lymphoma scare days....because of that stupid bug bite. (I think anyway)

I started that Worbenzym (sp) and ever since I noticed that I sweat more (a whole 2 days of it!) but I also noticed possible improvement...and I dreamed and slept like a baby. My neck might feel 10% better. *Knock on wood*
