You can find and read more about it here...

P.S. Do NOT take it, if you're allergic to shellfish!!!

I have never taken Chitosan because I have problems with some shellfish giving me hives so I was told not to try it.

I do know that Allergy Research does carry Chitosan and they are a reputable company that many LLMDs recommend.

I didn't find that it helped me all that much (nanotek chitosan).

Allergy Research Labs doesn't recommend taking it anywhere near any other meds or supplements.

I called them & they said to take it 4 hours away from any other drugs/supplements. 4 hours on both sides, that is. It can absorb anything & everything - it seems.

thanks to all so far.... The ARG brand seems to have to be bought threw a health care provider.

Looks like their retail site is www.nutricology.com.

I was wondering if anyone used other brands like NOW or NSI?

Sparkle, 4 hours on either side? Geez that about rules out taking it any other time for me except in the middle of the night!

thnak again for the replies...dch

Is this the same thing as Cholestyramine (stuff that makes you constipated), or different?

They both clean toxins out in a similar way but they are made from different ingredients.

I think apple pectin or activated charcoal would be a more natural approach.
