Hello,
Anyone take low dose Flagyl and feel any benefits from it? By low dose I'm meaning 500 or below.
Thanks!

I am currently taking 250mg 3X a day. I started off by taking it twice a day for the first week as I was directed to. This is my 6th week on it.

My LLMD and I have noticed improvements and to my surprise I did not have a bad herx. I had a bit of depression for about a week and some days I seem to be more goofy than normal. [spinning smile]

I took it for 1 month with Artemisinin and this month I added Bactrim DS 2X a day again.

I tried Flagyl last week for 3 days at 1/4 pill. I became so despondent and was having crying jags as part of the herx, plus I felt fatigued and malaised. I went back to my Ceftin.
