Dear unsure445, Yeast can actually cause over 100 physical symptoms alone! I found its pathology so fascinating, I wrote an essay about it in college. Candida can also be caused be a high carbohydrate diet (especially refined), as well as steroids and birth control. Pregnancy tends to trigger an overgrowth, since the hormonal changes create an ideal environment for the yeast to thrive. I have been on anywhere between 2 to 4 courses of abx per year since birth on average due to frequent Bronchitis, birth control for cysts on my ovaries, and as a teenager had to use inhaled steroids for asthma.

Or if you have been on antibiotics long term w/ probiotics is it a given?
