I just received a call from my LLMD's office and they said all co-infections are negative, which I'm thankful for I just don't know if I fully believe this
From reading different threads on this website I read how many people have been burned, and I don't want to wait to long to find out oh well you have bart or babs or something else.
I don't want to insult the first doc that is treating me like I'm not completely crazy but I want to be sure, any advise?
My symptoms started in 10/07, so my LLMD said its likely that I can recover up to 95% which is fantastic I so want my life back and I honestly don't think I ever fuctioned at 100% so 95% is perfect!
I am on week three of Omnicef at 300 mg 2 times a day, having previously received Dox 100mg twice a day for 28 days and IV Rocephin for 27 days (don't ask . . . damn ducks). Also just wondering when can I expect to feel some kind of change???
I don't think I'm Herxing and I don't really know if I feel better, somedays I think well maybe but then I'm dizzy, ugh this is very frustrating.
Thanks all!

Please PM me the name of your LLMD so we can discuss his/her protocols.

I think it's important to have an LLMD you trust. My coinfections tests came out negative, but my LLMD diagnosed me with bart and babs based on clinical symptoms.
Most people have coinfections.

I always have combined several metods to find what is wrong with me.
I found that ONE doctor DOES not KNOW IT ALL!
Combining the findings of several of them YES!

I am not sure if this is same doc as mine. But, if it is Dr. R in Wading River I know for a fact that he treats co infections even if you test negative .
He goes by sx and if you are not getting better. This is something he tells me at every visit.
He, likes to knock lyme bacterial load down first. Than attacks co's than lyme
Believe me it is working.

My personal exp for myself and 3 others here
with 2 different llmds has been similar.
At first our co infection testing came back neg
so we were treated for lyme and started to
recover.
Once some of the lyme symptoms started lifting
it was easier to separate other symptoms that
were not improving.
We have been retested and some have come back for
pos co inf. and then we treat.
But other symptoms have not cleared, and seemed
in one instance to be babs and we treated
clinicly....with I am happy to say very good
results.
I don't know if this is the case for anyone else,
but for us and b/c our infections have been w/
us for most of our lives (if not all)testing has
not always given us the info we needed.
Progress has been slow but we are getting there.
Hope this helps.
