I'm going to be getting an iv soon and was wondering if anyone knows what

med is the best and if the herxing is bad? Or if the herxing is different with

certain antibiotics? [confused]

My husband started IV Rocephin in May and I was concerned of horrible herxes. They added in IV Flagyl in June and I thought oh no now he's in for it but he's done really well and making good improvement on it.

Everyone is different. It seems some people need to do orals for a while to bring down the bacterial load (or at least that's what I've heard). Others go straight to IV without doing orals first and some people do only orals and do well also.

Hopefully the IVs will set you on the right path.
