I have been on abx (minocycline) since Jan. 2008 for Lyme Disease (I was diagnosed in November 2007 - I hate the bite with the rash). I followed up with my LLMD last week and he ran the usually bloodwork (CBC, Metabolic Panel, Thyroid, Anemia profile and CD57)

Most of the items in my CD57 for Lyme Disease are out of whack:

WBC 12.2 (H) out of 4.0-11.0
Lymphocyte % 10 (L) out of 19 - 48 %
Absolute Lymphocytes 1.2 out of 1.0 - 4.0
Percent CD3 54 (L) out of 61-84 %
Absolute CD3 648 (L) out of 960-2600
Percent CD57 14 out of 2-17 %
Absolute CD57 168 out of 60 - 360

Can anyone explain the CD3 test numbers and their significance? What is that testing for? Is my WBC still high and my % Lympocytes due to the Lyme?

CD57 looks good. I would look for coinfections as more of an issue than Lyme itself with that score. I would monitor over time every 3-6 months.

I would echo the above. New York Dr. B would likely say that co-infections would likely be your problem based on your normal CD57.....
