Specifically, BC/BS. My suspicion is that it's still exorbitantly

expensive.

Mine was $200 per month (I took 1 tsp per day).

Found out at the very end that Glaxo-Smith Kline had a program to reimburse that, since my insurance "undercovered" it.

This program is separate from Bridges to Access, but might be useful for someone with insurance like mine - that still required a hefty co-pay.

Call GSK directly to inquire, as I haven't found a link online. I found out about it from a GSK rep on the phone.

Wow...sixgoofykids, you must have GREAT insurance!

I have to pay between $250-$260 for a 3 week supply, after insurance - I think they cover 80% (taking 1 tsp 2x daily)...yeah it's expensive!

Adam, your mailbox is full. I have Anthem.

Yes, I have great insurance! They paid for my TMJ work, too, including braces!!! My dentist and ortho had never heard of braces being covered 100%!

I pay $80 through bc/bs through Medco for three bottles. 21 day supply each.

My insurance gets worse every January though so I don't know what it will be next year. So, I can't take it right now, instead, I'm stocking up on it at this cost for use later.

My co-pay was 5.00 for 2tsp. a day for a month.

I was ecstatic with that. Then I couldn't take it because of side effects..bummer. [Frown]

Are you all getting these incredibly low prices w/Blue Cross/Blue Shield?

I can't believe it! I'm paying $429 per bottle after insurance...over $1200/month @ 2tsp 2x/day. It's killing me. Not to mention everything else I'm taking.

my insurance is Oxford Health

I have BC/BS of Massachusetts and I paid $25. My dosage is 1tsp twice daily. I got it in the little packets so I don't have to measure it. The prescription sheet says I saved $978 by having insurance. It's absolutely insane how much antibiotics cost. If I didn't have insurance, I couldn't even consider taking half of the antibiotics I've taken thus far for Lyme.
