I get this weird sensation in my forearms. I would never say it's weakness. But, it almost feels like my muscles are churning or burning, or feeling "different" than they used to. It scares me. "What if it is ALS?" Even though I can swollen FINE and my sx don't quite match up to ALS.
Does anyone else have this? Even if different parts of the body. I can almost describe it as "churning of of the muscles, it really doesn't bother me all too bad...but you know me, worry wart, Nessa.
You guys are all I have. Sorry.

My pectoral muscles used to itch. Try telling that to a mainstream doc. They'll tell you there's a good medicine for that. It's called Haldol.

I just went through this too with a three week bad herx after starting antibiotics again - muscle burning and aching in my upper arms along with twitching all over and muscle weakness - even my coffee mug felt like it weighed 10 lbs. I was worried about ALS too, but it went away and my Dr. said this was totally in line with a herx and normal... actually "great news" bc it meant that the antibiotic was working. Just try to get some rest and take care of yourself until it subsides. No worries.
