What viruses can cross react to band 31 on the WB?

I don't think any -- 31 is highly specific for lyme disease.

well on the IgeneX website and on the lab results, it says band 31 can cross react with EBV and RF..... BUT I think thats ONLY if you have band 31. They have this confirmation test to make sure it is coming from lyme and not from something else.

If you have band 31 with other lyme specific bands.. Than I think you wouldnt need confirmation.

I also had a positive 23-25 band. Took another blood test yesterday this time for co-infections and EBV.

I will know the results next week, can't wait.

RF=Rhuematoid Factor...

I was also worried about band 31 being becasue of EBV but I dont have that BUT I DO have a VERY high RF... but they said I have other specifc bands.. so I guess My band 31 is from lyme.. I hope
