This morning around 6:30 I had a rather strange new thing happen.

As I laid in bed I noticed that my left leg seemd to be going numb starting at the toe and working it's way up.

Then (and I will describe this as best as I can)it was almost as all of my blood rushed to my heart..

My vision went blury and started twitching more than I ever do. I felt as if my body was stretched out. Then it would stop. It happened about every 10 minutes or so.

When I woke up I felt ok just had tightness in the chest. Has this ever happened to anybody or am I losing my mind? [dizzy]

Hi picasso,
So sorry to hear that you have a new symptom. Please call your doctor right away and let them know about these symptoms.

I don't know your history so I can't be very helpful but I have one side of my body that goes numb off and on too. I find that for me it is a trigger point which becomes problematic when I lay on it wrong or I'm particularly toxic.

Trigger points:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trigger_point

I've had most of the other symptoms that you mention too but I don't know that I've had them all at the same time.

The blurred vision could be a blood sugar problem. Could also be related to toxins or something else.

Actually, the twitching, numbness and blurred vision can all be caused by trigger points. Mineral imbalances can cause muscle twitching.

If you are in treatment, you may be low on minerals because minerals are needed to help the body get rid of the toxins that are produced as a result of die-off.

Toxins (die off) can activate trigger points or at least it does for me.

Wish I could be more helpful but I really do think you should give your doctor a call. If you are on medication, it could be a side effect or something else that should be checked out could be going on.

Terry
I'm not a doctor.

Ditto to what Terry says.

And, in the mean time, magnesium and B-6 might help the neurological - or toxin - issues.

I hope your doctor can help.

Good luck.

Thank you for the tips. It was a little scary and wasn't sure what it could be from.

I do have Vitamin D and Vitamin B12 def. so it could be from that.

Unfortunately I am not sure what dr to call. I am desperate to find an LLMD. The neuro I was seeing cannot find anything and has sent me back to the endocrinologist.

I am a little lost in all of my pain so the advice is appreciated beyond belief.

I only hope someday I can return the favor.

Here's the history so far
Brain MRI - found spot
Thorasic MRI - normal
Lumbar MRI - bulged disk
Leg CT for PAD - normal
EMG/Nerve conduction - normal

Symptoms:
Vit. D and Vit. B12 def.
Osteoporosis

Hasimoto's disease
Memory loss
muscle twitching

severe leg pain - cannot walk a block or stand for more than 30 minutes

The pain feels as if I have a vice on my legs and as it is being cranked closed my legs are on fire.

Raynaud's toes and feet swell

Pain in arms - not very bad

I have missed work because I feel as if my body was turning to stone.

Again...thanks for the help. It is getting hard to hear "normal" when I know something is wrong.
