hey everyone

first of all how long did it take anyone else here to get there Igenex results to their doctor?

I sent mine off and they said they received the blood August 6th ... anyone know when i should try to pop back into the clinic?

but anyways i've been really symptomatic for the past 2.5 years - but honestly have had lots of thing s in the mean time that could have kept spurring the lyme on

but around the beginning of july the majority of my symptoms started to go away to where i really am second guessing myself but still have some of my symptoms

i was just worried now that i wasted my money on my Igenex testing at this current time because IF i do have lyme and the symptoms are just in remission will my WB tests both be negative?

Obviously I'd pay the money again but if they come back completely negative and my GP sees that he'll never do any referals or give me antibiotics to try to get a herx or anything because he already really hates me when i bring up lyme

any suggestions or thoughts on if the western blots would only become positive when i'm really symptomatic?

or maybe would if come back more positive if around the time the symptoms started to fade more antibodies were being produced?

thanks everyone
Matt

-ps. either way I'll post my WB results when they come back so everyone can have new insight on if symptoms make a difference or not

It doesn't matter if you're symptomatic at the time you take the test.

It should take 3 weeks to get the results back.

And yes, come back to post the results and we'll help you!!! [Smile]
