Can you have your doctor prescribe some diflucan?

I take it weekly to prevent yeast.

I also take Diflucan weekly. I had one yeast infection and it went away very quickly. Some people end up taking Diflucan 3x a week.

there are also supplements that can kill yeast. You may want to ask your dr and see what he reccomends.

Monostat doesn't work. Something better is mixing plain yogourt and an emptied capsule of probiotic. Put this on a tampon and wear over night. Works like a hot damn.

You may need Diflucan in addition to ProBiotics.

And, for vaginal insert, Terazol may work much better. Monostat never worked for me. It will not work on all strains of candida.

But since I've found Olive Leaf Extract, no problems. However, I am rarely on abx, but when I am, OLE really helps prevent systemic candida. Allicin, too, is excellent as an oral supplement.

Some women will insert a garlic clove but I'd be cautious about that. It can really burn.

Keep a good sugar-free, low carb DIET. That is MAJOR.

What brand of probiotic are you taking? Must be a GOOD quality probiotic or it's useless.

Many of us took Nystatin the whole time we were on abx, and/or Diflucan.

Natural meds are Candex, Yeast Fighters, etc.... Do a search here for old discussions on yeast... there are thousands.

Hope it's better SOON!! [group hug]

Oh, and if you are in an intimate relationship, your partner should be treated for systemic candida, too. It can be shared and passed back and forth.

Olive leaf extract may be one to consider if so.

When I was on ABX I actually got up to daily diflucan. I can't afford to get a bad yeast infection as I have pain "down there", too, and it would be a disaster.

I'm even getting mild infections on Cowden. I was really bad with my diet last weekend (too much white flour and sugar) and I think that may be the cause.

Sometimes I use boric acid capsules called Yeast Arrest. I google and buy on the internet. They work well.

All of the ideas mentioned already are good ones, too.

I hope you can clear this up.
