HI I am a 39 year old female I was dx 5 years ago with Lyme disease. I have not been on a drug re gamine in about two years. I had kidney pain and was dx with hydronephrosis. Now I go see the specialist in a few days and when I tell him I have Lyme and can this effect my kidney I feel for certain the answer will be no. Has anyone on this forum ever heard of this? all the input would be great full to me. Thank you

Annette,
If you have used your full name as your web name, I suggest changing it for matters of security.
I'd also suggest changing the heading on your post so as to get specific replies.
Cross search with lyme or borrelia and kidney/kidney terms
also you must consider coinfections.
See the NEWBIE sections.
others will be along to help more.
It sounds like you do not have a LLMD. At least, can you call an LLMD's office and ask for suggestions for kidney specialists.
For lyme patient - going to any doctor who is not up to date with all the ILADS research can be a waste of time and dangerous in that true medical care will not be available if you have lyme and that doctor knows nothing about it.
also www.itmonline.org - search kidney and also Salvia. I recall Salvia being a tremendous help in this regard.
Good luck.

Oh, and when you post again, if you could break up the text into paragraphs that are very short with extra lines of white space between, more will be able to read your posts.
