Now that I'm awake, my eyes are really drooping, which is a herx for me. Has anyone else who's taken Alinia had this happen after one dose?

My docs are really hitting Babs hard. I was on Enula first, then they added artemesinin, then Mepron, and now Alinia. My protocol is unbelieveably expensive right now, but if it get's rid of Babs, I'll be happy.

How long does one stay on Alinia?

Patti - I can't answer all your questions but in my husband's case 1 single Alinia tablet caused pronouced night sweats.

So yes, it's some pretty powerful stuff for some folks.

How long you stay on Alinia? Up to your doctor, your insurer and your pocketbook. It's been shown to be safe in some Hepatitis C studies at 24 weeks of continuous therapy.

aLOHA PATTIE~

The alinia made me VERY sleepy when I first started too! but after a week or few it went away...

also, made me very nauseated.... but that passed too...

the length varies....

there is a program through the manufacturer, where you get it for free, it's Romark...ask your LLMD about it...

good luck!

Alinia was a great drug for me...!!!

Hugs!

I took alinia for 3 weeks then had to stop because I couldn't get over the diarreah it began to cause.

I believe it definitely cleaned some stuff up though, and hopefully some of the babs.

didn't make me sleepy however, but i've got pretty bad insomnia.
