Okay...that is exactly what I am doing now. I take it about 3 hours after each ABX.

I usually take three different ones during the course of the day, as far away from abx as possible.
They are: renew life, critical care (50 billion-15 strain), iflora professional strength, 20 billion-16 strain) and Theralac at bedtime.
I thought I read it is good to have a variety of different strains. L-Acidophilous and Biodifidea.. or whatever they are!

With Theralac, one a day is enough. Others, you might need as many as 6. So you really can't compare apples to oranges.
What brand are you taking?

I'm curious, is one Theralac a day enough if you have no appendix to store some & repopulate the intestines after a dose of ABX (when taking multiple doses)?

When I was on abx, I took Theralac (1 per day) and Ultra Flora (3 per day), both high dose probiotics. When my GI issues were bad, I also took VSL#3, which has 450 billion organisms.
For the first year, I needed VSL#3 daily. After a while, every other day would do. Then after some more time passed, I could take it once per week.

One or two VSL#3 every day, a soil-based probiotic formula, chewable acidophilus.
