it is really knocking me out this year.
i have my chem sensitivites pretty much under control and have been out of the sick building a long time-haven't had bad respiratory probs in two years
but this is knocking me out. need meds-mask-ac and i'm still back in wheelchair cuz no air...
bummer...

It's bad for me too. I've been fighting a mild case of bronchitis for about 2 wks now. I'm sure it's the ragweed.
We've had tons of rain this year and the ragweed must have gone nuts!

thanks-i just walked the dog for 1/2 hour with a mask and goggles etc---stripped down when i came back into my ac ...but i am still really sick. my eyes are so watery i can hardly see.
i saw a new product advertised-it was a gel you put in your nostrils-it's supposed to stop the pollen somehow. my doc wouldn't let me have it. i usually hate new drugs but this is stopping me so i would try it. i'm afraid i won't be able to ride tomorrow.

I'm not sure, but from what I understand Lyme lowers the immune system. Hay fever and allergies are your immune system kicking in to fight pollens and other things in the air that your body think are attacking it.
This may be a good sign for you. It may mean that your immune system is strong enough to start fighting again. Even if it means you will suffer from allergies.

actually my cd57 never was real low-i don't know if it was earlier-before i tested it
i have had the allergies since i was a child and went into anaphalectic shock while being tested for ragweed
every year that i don't have trouble surprises me. but this year is only the 2nd worse i can remember...and it's not over yet!

I am having the opposite this year. I stopped taking my Allegra,for other reasons, and I am not having hardly any problems. I do still use Flonase.
My LLMD said that he has seen allergies go away for some people when they've been undergoing treatment. Cool huh?
I am just starting to notice a few more allergy symptoms - mostly the ears filling up - but this is the ragweed time of year and late-cut hay always bothers me.

Yay...Thank God I'm not alone..This ragweed in Tn. is murder and we haven't had rain in a month...was diagnosed with lyme in April and regular Allegra or Zyrtec didn't help recent allergy attack..Dr. prescribed Deconamine SR and it's really helping...I should own stock in Puffs Plus...I almost thought I was leaking brain fluid!!LOL.
