Just got the news from my LLMD today that my urine test results came back from doctors data and I have elevated lead and mercury.
He said he is going to start chelating these so I have no doubt he knows what to do.
Question is.. has anyone found a major improvement after heavy metals where addressed?
I have always believed in many factors that lead to chronic illness like this and in turn everything must be addressed in order to restore the bodies balance.
I would like to think of this as maybe a bit of a breaktrough.

Yes, chelating made a huge difference for me.
In fact, when I had my amalgams taken out in 1991 when I was having health problems and didn't know it was Lyme I felt better for 12 years. I had a biological dentist do the work, then took all the supps he suggested.
It wasn't until 2003 when I got sick with something else, that the Lyme became active again.

I would argue that everyone with chronic Lyme has metals as a part of their illness.
There are those that know they have metals and those that don't know they have metals.
Of course, there are rare exceptions, but not many in my opinion.

Please be very stringent with yourself in your anti-Candida efforts. Having Lyme, using antibiotics, AND chelating all make you susceptible to yeast overgrowth. Learned this the hard way.

Hey Six, Good to hear. I assume I will be following much the same treatment for it as you did since we do share the same doc. Can you tell me a little about what you did and what kind of timeframe I am looking at.
Thanks
Thanks 06...Yes I am very strict on the diet end of things...actually I am Dr B's guidelines personified. I am as persistant and aggressive with lyme as it has been with me.
