I have not posted in a while. To summarize I have been treated by a good LLMD for Lyme and Co. for a year, although I recently had to take a 2 month break as my liver was unhappy with Mepron.
Anxiety and depression have been 2 of my on-again, off-again symptoms. They seem to have increased during these last two months. I take xanax as needed, but have been trying to avoid anything more.
My LLMD just started me on mino/levaquin. I think I am pretty familiar with the tendon/flox issues with levaquin but I am wondering about others' experience with the mental stuff.
I am on my fourth day. I have a big increase in burning legs, and have a lump in my throat that feels like a basketball.
I can try an anti-depressant, but have not had much success in the past.Just curious about others experience with this combo and these symptoms.
As always, thanks for any input. Kris

Anxiety is not one of my symptoms, but I did take Levaquin/Mino. It was a GREAT combination for me! My cognitive symptoms and pain flared very badly at first for six weeks, then my head became clear and I steadily improved from 70% to 95%.
I took Malarone and Lariam with the Levaquin/Mino so I was still treating the babs, too.
Good luck with it.

Anxiety has been a terrible symptom for me throughout Lyme treatment. I noticed improvement on Levaquin/mino however, which is nice. I had a lot of pain and only stayed on this drug due to Six's experience.
