This is addressed in Stehphen Harrod Buhner's book Healing Lyme. You may want to give it a look.

I think I'd buy it in the form of bee venom ointment. Be careful if you're allergic to bee stings.

I have researched it a lot but haven't done it yet. It's very important to do it correctly so that you test for allergies, but once you do that and follow the instructions, some people do have remarkable results. I have emailed with people who were really serious "stingers" and they said that buying the venom is not nearly as potent as doing actual live stings.
I'd love to know if you do try it. I hoped to do so this summer but got distracted by other things.

I use to buy live bees in the mail and then my husband would hold a live bee with a pair of tweezers and sting me along my spine on a acupressure point.I think I got close to about 40 stings at a time. When I first did it I got a big reaction with swelling and itching, which in fact is a good sign.I saw good results too at first but with time it seemed to have lost it's effect.I have since learned you need to suplement daily with like 1000 mg of Vit.C . I think that it the reason I had those results,in not taking the added C. And after you get stung often it hurts very little, just like a little needle prick. But I can still remember the time the bees got loose in the little box they were sent in,I keep them in the kitchen cabinet,"keep in cool dark spot" My young child at the time opened the door for a glass and all the bees got loose. It wasent funny at the time but when I remember us all hollering and opening up the doors to try and swat them out, we all laugh today.

That sounds horribly painful to do. I couldn't anyway I am allergic to bees sometimes. I have had bad reactions in the past but not always. I guess it depends where the bee has been.

it also depends on how much pain youre in at present.
a bee sting would be a welcome distraction from the pain i endure 24/7...
i am going to try it once able.

I remember the main plus's I got from the stings was increased energy and less stiffnes. I did it 3 times a week. Like I said, I noticed benifits directly after starting but it had seem to loose it's effects after several monthes because I didnt know then I should be suplementing with vitamin C.It wasent like taking a perscription were I could tell when it lost potence but was a definite feeling of feeling better.
