Balance issues, extreme fatigue, depression, night sweats, POTS, all during herxing, which usually comes every 3 weeks.
My guess is that you are herxing.

My first two months of babs tx were hard; increased dizziness and air hunger, and some increased neuro symptoms.
Then after two months, it all got much better and easier. My breathing became better than it had been in years. It was pretty exciting.
I used malarone for babesia treatment, but five months was not long enough, according to my blood tests. Still, it helped my health significantly.

I have just done a similar post as I am wondering if Im having Babesia herx's although they are now cycling with my 28 day lyme herx
My neck has totally siezed up, feels like my head has short circuited with twitching in my head and then I totalyy crash and am in bed, the bottom of my feet are also twitching - I assume this must be babesia related as it has only happened when starting babs treatment.

Night sweats several times a week, depression so bad I had to take a break, early morning awakening with anxiety, increase in a few symptoms that I associate with bartonella -- twitching right eyelid, shin pain and pain on bottoms of feet.

The first time I took Mepron (only did it for 3 months), I got night sweats but only a couple nights I think. I did get really bad nausea, and I would suddenly feel like I was going to vomit if I did not sit very still and eat a snack to calm things down. Sometimes I actually DID vomit though. Theoretically this could have been from the drugs themselves, but I think there is a good chance they were a herx, because I got a similar reaction from Artemisinin.
Also, bad "short term" memory issues, but it is unclear if that was a bart herx due to the zithromax.
I would get the dizziness. Some days when it was bad, it was like I was on a carnival ride. But that was not too often. The fact that your dizziness is better probably means your babesia is beign treated effectively.
I also had HORRENDOUS bizzare body odor that cleared up completley on Mepron....i have spoken with another member who's daughter also had body odor and sweating issues that went away with mepron.
I have never had air hunger as a symptom or a herx despite a positive Igenex FISH for babesia microti.
I didn't have heart palpitations as a symptom or a herx until taking artemisinin.
The worst night sweats I got as a herx happened within a few days on the salt/C protocol (warning: can be dangerous for some).
With the artemisinin I also got intense soreness in quadriceps and buttocks, which is supposedly babesia. If I were you, I would add artemisinin because it gave me herxes that Mepron did not.
I have gotten the droopy eyes too psano....interesting!!! never would have associated that. But it is definitely from something and definitely happened while treating babs, so there ya go on that one.
