at least i think this is a herx.

my 9yo dtr has been on abx for 2 weeks and past 2 evenings she has had a fever 2 hours after abx (rocephin).

today she had some leg pain all day and after abx she could not sit still pain in legs and arms.

gave motrin and finally after she went into a warm bath she felt a little better.but she tosed and turned all night

sounds like a herx...right? what else can i do to help her to feel better?

will try to call her doc today but afterall, it is a holiday.

I am on IV Rocephin and it did the same to me I could not feel my hands or legs and it did go. But You MUST speak with her LLMD soon.

To help her herx get her to drink fresh squeezed lemon in water and email Nutrmedix to see childs dosages of Burbur and Parsley detox as they are fantastic and lots of water.
