I had it a little before the i.v. antibiotics...but now that I've been on them for 3 weeks. There has been nights where the pain was at a 9 and I couldn't even cry or talk it hurt so bad.
There's no words to really describe the PAIN. It is really in my wrists right now but sometimes it will spread into my forearms and it is HELL.
I'm learning more how to deal with these things. It's still my neck that has to STOP doing what it does all of the time.
Does anyone else have this? I don't have any swelling though?
I did some of those toxic foot pad things that someone was nice enough to send me (I can't remember the name and I'm so sorry I didn't thank you because I couldn't remember...but I do remember they came from Texas - my home town area too) and you wouldn't believe the mess that came out of my feet.
It was horrid. I don't think they were the Kinoki ones. Whatever it was, the placebo effect was cool, like I was getting stuff out that needs to come out!

hey, girl, it was me!!! from fort worth...
those were the gold ones from healthmarvel. really cheap...some people swear by them, others don't. just individual i guess.
my left wrist bothers me like that. i swear sometimes it feels like it's broken. every time i try to use it, i get these really bad pains that shoot up my arm. man, it hurts.
i just started back on biaxin twice a day, so i'm thinking it might be that.
i bought some of those wrist guards at walmart here they wrap with velco and they seem to help. i can't remember what i paid for them tho.

I grew up in Burleson! Worked in Ft. Worth and lived there once I turned 18. Got an apt. on Hulen.
I miss that place sooo much!
I will have to see about doing something about my arm pain, I'm not too sure how to address it because it's hard to tell exactly where it's coming from: bones? nerves? muscles? both? lol.
Everything is a mystery!

I hate to say it but it always makes me feel better when others have the same weird odd pains as me. It's those odd pains that always make me question "Is this really Lyme?" because it's from head to toe, different places and different types of pain.
I guess that's what Lyme is though.

Killing bugs causes inflammation in the tissues. Inflammation causes pain.

I have this since last year when this all started. Started with a small ache in the wrist, then I couldn't apply pressure or do a push up. Then the pain was in the forearm, sometimes the elbow and the shoulder! I can't bend my forearm to far forward or it hurts like crazy, bending it back is fine. Anyone else? This is on the left side and would notice it on the right side from time to time but minor.
When I started taking Doxy/Biaxin, the pain in the right arm/wrist started and got worse for a few days. Maybe I am herxing on alternating days. sunday I felt horrible, shaky, dizzy, achy, then Monday I felt normal! Today, I am back to the pain and dizziness, etc.
