I'm getting to be very scared for my daughter. She's been treated since Jan. for Lyme by an LLMD. She's had some good days but says her head always hurts.

For about 7 weeks, she's been treating for babs. For the last 3 weeks, she has been back laying in her bed all the time, saying her head hurts too much.

I've tried stopping the treatment for a few days to see if it was a herx but that hasn't seemed to help.

Could it be her Lyme symptoms are getting worse since we aren't exactly treating that right now?

Her LLMD has called in some prednisone for her to take for 3 days to help for herxing. Should I give her this?

I feel like she is as bad off as when we started treatment for her. She has been mostly laying in her bed for a year.

I personally would not give her the prednisone as prednisone is a

steroid. Steroids are an absolute NO-NO when it comes to lyme.

When I first started becoming ill, before I was dx w/ lyme, I had

two different drs. prescribe me prednisone for my symptoms. Now,

since seeing an LLMD, I am told that taking the prednisone further

aggravated my symptoms and is now making my lyme harder to

treat. I would honestly get a second opinion.

What meds is she on?

Babs treatment is brutal and 7 weeks is just the beginning, unfortunately.

I recently found MOLD in my bed! Is there anything besides Lyme that could be causing her symptoms?

I would work on detox. Lots of water. Coffee enemas work wonders (depending on how old your daughter is). Oral glutathione might help.
