My doctor has also suggested it previously as maybe our next line of attack if current regimen stagnates so I'm interested too.

Just started those two together. Have been taking flagyl.

Lingering chronic symptoms: Fatigue, Derealization, Brain fog. Monthly fever with flu-like symptoms that last for weeks.
Lyme WB Bands Positive: 31, 41, 58, 66
HHV6, EBV, CMV, & Mycoplasma IGG positive.
Chronically Low CD4 count.

Have heard it can be Quite effective... for Some people. Bicillun-LA is a long-lasting cell wall drug & Flagl works to hit the cyst form.
A sensible combination, thogh I haven't used it myself.
If you've been on amoxy in the past & shown improvement from That, I'd be very interested in hearing how you do as I've condsidered it myself & could ask my ND for a "go" with it.

I did take amoxy for a while with some improvment but Bicillin has been more effective. I am so tired of treatments period. I am hesitant to take another oral since the last few orals I was on did me in. I had abdominal pain from them.

I guess I shall see.

My llmd also said that flagyl treats babs????
I hadn't heard this before.

I am supposed to add either tindemax (sp?) or flagyl to my bicillin-LA injections with rifampin and probenecid.

I thought I remembered reading the flagyl can be really hard on you...any worse/better than tindemax? And in combo with bicillin?
