I've used ProBoost in the past year alot for EBV. It is great for any chronic infection and helps to boost immune system. It's too expensive to take daily, usually I'll take it if I feel any viral or cold/flu issues coming on. It's really good to have on hand, it zaps an infection.

I tried ProBoost for a couple of months & it didn't see to do much for me. It's kind of pricey...

Hubby tried this in the past -- think it was 3 or 4 years ago.

Didn't seem to do much for him.

At one time the Reishi mushroom product suggested by the Dr B was helpful -- seemed to work for a year or so.

For the last couple of years I haven't been able to find anything which actually helps increase hubby's white blood count. Has hovered at 4.0 -4.5 for a couple of years and is now falling off even more with aggressive antibiotic treatment.

I think if you have Bart it is much harder to increase the WBC and boost the immune system.

This is not medical advice, just my opinion based on hubby's experiences.

Or if you have Ehrlichia that could also cause a low WBC.

I would try the product at the suggested dose for a month or two and get CBC's done monthly to see if it actually makes a difference to immune function. And of course monitor your symptoms to see if you can see any obvious improvement in symptoms which may not be reflected in bloodwork.

This is an old post, but I wondered if anyone around now has experience of using it?
