hey guys

there has been some discussion on this forum that ive found regarding allergies developing from lyme and some of the co-infections or whatever combination you may have

it is also listed on the canlyme and other sites that new allergies and chemical sensitivies are a symptoms of lyme and co

but my question is does anyone happen to be well educated and done research in immunology to know why this happens??

I had always thought that allergies are caused by an overactive immune system - hence why topical and systemic steroids work for allergies/allergic reactions because the steroids suppress the immune system

But obviously us lymies have suppressed immune systems for the most part so why would anyone think that would be??
