I'm getting horrid bruises that I don't know where they even came from. It makes me worry. Does anyone get bruises here and does treatment do something to your body where it's easier to bruise?

I had horrible bruising with babs. Treatment seemed to really bring it out, and it didn't go away until I kicked the babs.
You might mention it to your LLMD, though, just in case.

I had that ... even before treatment. I would have bruises all over my body and not know where one was from!
I don't have that anymore. It gets better.

Vitamin K is needed to prevent bruising. It is made in the stomach. When we are malabsorbing nutrients we can not manufacture it or not enough. Drugs and food allergies cause problems with K manufacture.
Taking a supliment of vitamin K should bring improvement in a couple of weeks. Another symptom is slow clotting and nose bleeds. Hope this Helps.
Nessa- it can take a long time to to get well, but you will see and celebrate progress along the way. Months or years of treatment may be needed but you won't be this sick that long. You don't even want to know how long I was sick. I had to function, I am the mom. Give up everything that is not important to you and your immediate family. Your neighbors and community will have to live without you for awhile.

I was getting all sorts of bruising earlier this year. My bloodwork showed low WBC and high, very high, liver enzymes. It was all chalked up to the cardizem I was taking,
What are you on for meds?

I was having a lot of bruising too, my LLMD said the ABXs are the cause, he told me to take vitamin K, now they are pretty much gone.
