I've been on doxy and ceftin for six weeks now for Lyme. it seems my tummy gets slightly more bloated each day. It's painful today.

Is this yeast? I took a diflucan last night so maybe that's what's causing me to hurt even more?

Or could it be die off toxins?

I'm curently drinking as much lemon water as I can and jumping on the mini- tramp for lymph drainage. I spent twenty minutes in the sauna yesterday... anything to detox.

Anyhting else I can do? I'm starting to look pregnant and if it gets worse, i might have to stop the abx. [Frown]

I took Nystatin for terribly painful bloating and it worked wonders. In fact, I kept taking it as needed for more than a year after I stopped IVs.

JUST CHECKING!!! [Big Grin]

I've had people ask me if they were supposed to take ALL of the items listed in the Candida link I always post.....so I wanted clarification for others as well.

You don't LOOK dumb, Derek!!! [lol]

PS.. It's hard to understand all the dates. I wasn't sure what was meant by them. Do I look dumb to you? [bonk]

It could just be that the medicines are causing your bowels to not move very well.

Diflucan can "dry you out," meaning your large intestine could also be not as lubricated.

Try maybe some cod liver oil (high quality so as not to have metals like mercury in it).

Also, fiber maybe?

Sometimes fiber makes it better, sometimes worse. I'm not sure this is even the problem, but I often have a hard time keeping my bowels regular on all these drugs, and it makes my stomach bloated.

Good luck!

Sounds like yeast and/or constipation.

High doses of Vit C is so effective for constipation, yeast, and building back immune system. I use powdered Calcium Ascorbate to bowel tolerance every few days. Also caprylic acid and wild oregano oil works well.
