Thanks everyone for your help! I'm an ultrasound tech. so I was able to quickly scan myself today and r/o a blood clot. It looks like lymphedema.
I'm thinking the draining lymph nodes are so full of bacteria and toxins that the lymph vessels are unable to drain.
Just was wondering if anyone else here has experienced lymphedema in an extremity due to Lyme or co's.
If elevating my leg tonight doesn't help I might have to get it checked out.

I think if you do a search for that term, or "swelling", etc., you can find some info.
Manual lymph drainage, getting the bile and liver flowing via certain foods, and cleaning out "the pipes", to help.
Mild exercise if possible...anything to get the muscles working since they pump the lymph system, or massage to relax tight muscles, rebounding, etc.
Your llmd may need to know, to see if they want to consider a temporary cutback of abx, so lymph backup in brain, and hindrance of liver function, does not add to the symptoms, or even burden heart/lung/kidney function.
Some people have used Pekana drainage remedies or other herbs to help.

3 pieces of advice if it is lymph drainage related...
Do heavy body massaging of the legs and your entire body. Make it a point to really massage the skin, muscles, especially around the major lymph sites, in order to help push things along.
Also increase your fluid intake to help with the flushing of the toxins.
Aside from that, gentle exercising, stretches of the calve muscles, more exercising, and cool down stretches.
