How many minutes do you use your machine at one time? Is it okay do work up to 30 minutes?
How many times a day do you use your machine?
At what setting?
What position do you put your hands in?
I have been enjoying my new machine and was wondering how other people have been using theirs.
I have been using mine for 15 minutes twice a day so far and just graduated to using the auto setting which seems to do much more then the 5 minute setting I had been using.
I could see how this machine could help one lose weight.

i put my hands above my head, because it shakes more to the core of my body that way, and i believe i read that somewhere, but can't recall where.
i set it to where i feel the right action happening, i think for me it's about mid-range, sometimes slower..don't assume faster is better.
you can feel the right setting, and i believe this is variable based on body size and weight. you want to feel almost a figure eight wave that travels through the body. hard to describe in words.
you can tell a good session by the sensation once the machine is stopped. it's those few minutes that you lay absolutely still post session that has actually has the most powerful effect on the lymph flow, not the rocking itself.
quite a sensation. that's how i know i had the right setting. you'll get an intense full body wave of tingling, head to toe.
it definitely helps loose "weight", as it gets lymph moving. i love the chi machine.
i used to roll out of bed and right on it.
when my son went into life/death crisis i stopped using it. i should really force myself to get back on it.
thanks for reminding me.

Thanks for the info. I look forward to using mine when I wake up in the morning.

I have a sun harmony chi machine. It has only one setting. I like to use it for at least 10 minutes at a time once a day. I do this while also using a bio-mat (infrared light) and get amazing results in terms of increased energy and wellness.
In fact I plan to bring these items to the Lyme conferences as a way of taking care of myself during those four long, intense days.

I have not owned mine long enough to tell if I have lost weight but it would seem it could help in that area. I am kind of thin already. I have owned mine I think less then a week but I will get back to you on that. I think it might sort of be toning my stomach or decreasing water retention in that area.
I did have a body worker check my lymph today and she said it was clearing moving better then before so I took that as a good sign. I really enjoy using the machine and find it relaxing.

I use mine for 15 minutes each morning and find it very relaxing. I think it is helping with my lymph because my body worker told me she could tell the difference from before I was using one.
I do not think I lost any weight but I don't need to at the moment.

I check with the Biotensor. My husband usually uses it following a Bionic treatment when drainage is especially needed. I.e. when you feel the worst, is probably when you need it most. Position = always what feels most comfortable.
Take care.
