I don't have anyone by the name of Dr. S in ____ on my list. Perhaps you mean that individual with the very strange name? If you mean that guy, all my reports have been positive.
Notes: Patient reports: "Dr. S is a godsend. He sat with Mike (my boyfriend) and I for 2 hours. I am very lucky to have gotten in there. I am a smoker, and Dr. S does not accept smoking patients because you cannot smoke and get rid of Lyme. The appointment screener must have forgotten to ask me, thank god! He even yelled at Hershey medical center (ER I went to) because they gave me my records, but no test results. They couldn't find the test results. They ended up having to call the lab and *****. He even gave me his home number!"
Patient Report: "Dr. S and his nurse have Lyme themselves so I guess they are extra compassionate."
Patient Report: "Dr, S is a great doctor! He is the first LLMD I went to and the ONLY reason I didn't continue was that he is 6 hours away from me and I was really really sick when I first saw him. If it hadn't been for him I may never had been diagnosed and gotten the help I needed! I wish he had been closer so I could have continued with him. but I did find another doctor that took the results and treated me
Webmaster Note: Only the doctor's Last Initial and State may be posted. I have edited this psot accordingly.

The rules on lymenet are that you do not use doctors full names or the city they are in. Please edit your post to drop city from subject line.
Also, you should review the guidelines in the sticky at the top of the threads page, the one that says do not use doctor names, for further info.
Also, reviews of doctors should be done by private message, not posted on the public forum.

Ditto.... Metallic... I don't think you two are talking about the same dr.
Please converse with this person thru PM.

I know someone who used to see him. If you aren't positive for co's, he won't treat you, though he may pick an antibiotic that MIGHT work on a coinfection, too. Whether it will work on YOUR particular strain - well, that's debatable.
Bottom line - he wants to see a positive result, and you know what that means.

If a rule exists in the terms of service of the forum against what I provide, I will gladly provide this data via PM, thus far I have not seen one. Patients provide reports on the forum, I simply collect them and repost them. A moderator is welcome to PM me if my interpretation of the rule is incorrect, otherwise it is my opinion that subjective positive and negative experiences that patients have, ought to be available on the forum, as long as no information is provided that could compromise the physician legally or ethically (I.E. charges filed, IDSA interference, Malpractice, Link a physician as an LLMD)
-------------------- I am not a physician, so do your own research to confirm any ideas given and then speak with a health care provider you trust.
A portion of LymeNet's rule #5 states, "You also agree not to post the last name, or the first name, of any person that treats Lyme disease. Instead, please use the first initial of the last name only, with the state, but not city. For example, Dr. B. in NY. "
Thank you for every one's cooperation.

Let this board be a place where we can post without having to worry about being PC all the time.
It may have been "strange" to the person who wrote it. It's hard to use "code words" when you can't post a doctor's name. If you were looking for a nationality, then that may have been too discriptive, and someone would have complained about that.
You shouldn't be so quick to judge. Especially when people are sick and not thinking straight.

I'm sure Metalic Blue didn't mean any harm and neither did I. Hope you are able to understand someday.

A friend of mine runs a Lyme support group. According to her, "If you want IV and antibiotics, go to Dr. J. If you want homeopathic/alleopathic, go to Dr. S." She went to Dr. S because she was young when she got LD, and he treats children.
I've been going to Dr. J because, well, he had an appointment open the soonest. From what I hear, either one's a good choice.
