i was just wondering if anyone here has heard or had luck with claims that aloe vera juice has antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties??

or even more important if it somehow interfers with antibiotics?

The main reason is being ive heard it does have strong anti fungal properties and was therefore wondering about its use as an antifungal while starting antibiotics?

thanks

Yes it probably is to a minor extent anti-microbial. If you had to compare potency as an anti-micriobial, I think there are better, such as freeze dried garlic or oregano oil as well as others. What I believe is it's best asset is its ability to support a stronger gut wall. By doing that, it reduces inflamation.

I take it for my belly. If I get a GERD feeling, I either take an oz. or two of the juice or pop a capsule. By golly I think it helps.

Best,
Allie
