WOW! I can have a free-for-all! YIPPEE!!!

We all can!

Ok.. where to start?

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm??????

1. I think grocery stores should spend another .0234 cents on packaging for their meats.

I am stuck paying $7.99 a pound for a cut of meat.. and I REALLY don't understand why they can't pitch in the .0234 cents for better wrapping to be sure before I can get it home it doesn't leak all over the place.

Ok.. your turn.

OH that's right!

You can't reply!

Sooooooooo..

I make am motion that this be a new law. Anyone opposed? NO?

Ok... as of tomorrow.. all meat will be better packaged as to not leak. Anyone violating this new law will be fined $6,000.00 per pound of meat that has been purchased by the consumer.

[Big Grin]

Yes.. I need to have someone guide me through the world to keep me focused. But so do you because you read this. HA!

Ho Ho Ho! Ya'll maka me laugh!

[lol]

I agree on the berries, and the turkey- good deal there- and the other comments too.

AND.. I CAN see you! HA!

This is kinda fun.

We can post anything in the medical section we want.

Next topic... ummmmm?????

Oh oh! I know.

TODAY it hit me! I am going to be a grandma.

I knew that... but TODAY it really hit me!!!! There is going to be an itty bitty baby soon!!!! How special!

I came to this lightbulb over my head moment while in a store today... passing by some baby clothes. And some tiny tiny little shoes. And when I saw the shelf full of diapers for sale...

It hit me! I AM gonna be a grandma! With a REAL baby!!!

In my oh wow moment... I tried to pick out some little gifts to make a basket for the baby shower. But we won't know if "peanut" (its nick name right now) is boy or girl... so that sucks.

After looking and looking...

Know what I bought?

A box of -tips. Oh.. the letter after "p" doesn't work on my keyboard.. so fill in the blank with that letter...

_-tips. got it?

Yep.. that was it! That was all I could pick out by myself!!!!

I couldn't figure out if they needed glass or plastic bottles and the new weird shapes of them, what brand/size diaper, what size bed sheets, baby socks, etc.

Boy am I out of practice!!!! And feeling stupid.

Anyone got any thoughts on this topic?

If not.. we COULD talk about ... uhhhhh. uhhhhh...

Well YOU pick a topic!

Hey, can't let you slide by here without a 'chew out'!

Leaky meat got you down? You need a vampire to take with you shopping! There...a solution...hahaha!

Or...become a vegan!

Keep on truckin' and don't let the turkeys get you down! [bonk] [Razz] [Big Grin]

Tincup, the absolute best gift you can get for the mother is a diaper bag/backpack called a Kaboochie, or something like that. My grandson is 7 years old, and his mother still uses his to pack all his junk in when they come to visit.

It has a cooler packet, changing pads, a zipper for diapers on the bottom of the bag.... Wonderful idea.

And don't forget the diaper genie!

Congratulations Tincup, that's wonderful news.

There's nothing wrong with Q-tips and sounds like you've got plenty of time to buy anything your heart desires for the baby!

I think I can chew you out now.

Only willing to if you are completely covered in chocolate! [Big Grin]

Here's one I heard yesterday.

Instead of bailing out the banks, the government should give

Everyone 18 years of age or older, the money.

If you started with 89 billion dollars, after

Everyone paid their 30% taxes,

Each of us would be left with about 297,000.00

Which we could all pay off our mortgages (got rid of that problem).

The government automatically got money back immediately (taxes),

The debt would be less thus the dollar worth more.

We could and would stimulate the economy in a major way.

How cool would that be?

I know....no politics. [Frown]

Now see if you can chew me out. [Smile]

Hugs,

Geneal

Posting here now is like trying to roller skate with a broken foot!

[Eek!]

But I can SEE you all now!

Progress!

Thanks for all the kind words on the baby. I am getting excited.

Thanks for the info on that baby diaper thing. I looked it up. I'd never heard of it! Guess everyone else in the world has... just not me?

But it sounds... if not smells.... good!!!

I like the plan to fix the money woes too. COOL!

And the part about being covered in chocolate was mighty fine too!

And a vampire? [Eek!] A vegan sounds better. HA!

You all have a grand weekend. This board is .. to me.. like trying to navigate a rubic's cube... so enough already!

Hope it isn't giving the moderators too much trouble!!!

Night...

I thought this was just a place to ask medical questions and/or support? I must be confused. I member when I was new here I posted an off topic post on the Medical Questions board and get a few pms (including the original poster of THIS post) griping at me and to just keep it simple, to the point, and professional.

So, either I'm missing something that I'm not apart of OR the rules have changed? Can someone clue me in?

Sorry about the triple posts.

I still couldn't post even last night.

Didn't mean to overwhelm you.

Congrats on the grandbaby!

You can never, ever go wrong with diapers.

I got a gift certificate from my mother-n-law from pampers.

It gave me free diapers for the whole first year.

That was really big!

Hugs,

Geneal

Nessa, we're all having a little fun this weekend 'cause the site is whacked out. Bear with the underground humor and we'll be back to normal soon.

And yes, you can still ask a medical question, but all answers are going to go underground.

HA HA! How do you do that? So many words with the letter after P in them... wow!

Funny one you are. A bit uirky... but funny!

[Big Grin]

G...

Diapers for a year? NICE!!!!!

But did you have to rent a u-haul for them all?

Or ... uh duh me.. you probably didn't buy them all at once, now did you?

HA!

Never mind.

[Big Grin]

BettyG...

Thanks for the kind words. Congrats to you too. Great Aunt Betty!

[Big Grin]

Cottonbrain..

Good thing it wasn't supper time! YULK!

I'll sign a petition to clean out the green meat. OH MY!

[Eek!]

Yo Nessa...

I don't know what kind of bug is up your butt... but how about giving it a rest?

I don't know you... don't have contact with you... and would prefer at this point to have you out of my face.

I made the mistake of posting a reply to a post you made a while back, offering the best I had... spent a lot of time on it too... and out of all the replies you got..

For some reason you skipped any thank you's to everyone else who posted and chose to come after me and blow me out of the water.

?????

Then the thread was deleted. What's your problem?

And do note.. You said...

"I member when I was new here I posted an off topic post on the Medical Questions board and get a few pms (including the original poster of THIS post) griping at me and to just keep it simple, to the point, and professional."

Not at all true. Come on!

First of all... I don't PM anyone. Period.

NONE ... NOTTA .. NO WAY. My PM function has been shut down since I started posting here. So think again and at least if you are going to post junk... be truthful about it.

And... if I have something to say... I do it here on the board. My own personal policy is if I can't say it on the board.. I probably shouldn't say it.

Second... Anyone who has read my posts will know I have not been one to "keep it simple, to the point, and professional."

That being said.. why would I even think I could get away with telling others to do that? That dog don't hunt.

I'll make you a deal. I'll not post on your posts.. and you don't post on mine.

With the little time I have... I don't need whatever it is you are dishing out... and you don't need what I am throwing back at you.

Now PLEASE... be like a tree and leaf.
