Perhaps Ginger Savely should contact WorldNetDaily, since she already has a relationship with them.

Mr. Sykes, or others, could provide the medical documentation.

Lyme disease is mentioned in the Morgellons article ("half the people with Morgellon's disease also have Lyme disease").

If they'll publish stories about Morgellon's disease, I feel they'd also do some stories about Lyme disease.

I was pleasantly surprised to find several references to Lyme disease on WorldNetDaily.

1. May 1, 2008 link to the Hartford Courant article: "Lyme disease treatment guidelines to be reviewed"
Dispute simmers over whether 30-day course of antibiotics sufficient for cure

2. Ilana Mercer mentioned gross misdiagnosis of Lyme disease in the May 28, 2004 article, "Pundits, heal theyselves!", in the WND Exclusive Commentary, Return to Reason.

<"Suppose your doctor misdiagnoses your condition - he tells you that six months hence you'll be stone-cold dead, pushing up the daisies. As it turns out, however, you did not have leukemia after all, but were only suffering from Lyme disease. Would you not consider switching practitioners? ">

Ilana Mercer is the author of "Broad Sides: One Woman's Clash With A Corrupt Culture." She is a fellow at the Jerusalem Institute for Market Studies, an independent, nonprofit, economic policy think tank.

She also contributes to VDARE.COM, founded by Peter Brimelow and devoted to the analysis of immigration policy. To learn more about her work, visit IlanaMercer.com. If you would like to comment on this column, go to Ilana's blog.

3. Maralyn Lois Polak mentioned Lyme disease in four WND articles. See her WND Commentary, Left-Handed. Ms. Polak and her dog had Lyme disease. These articles were written from 1999 to 2000.

Dear Mr. Sykes,

I have a suggestion for a media source that has published other controversial medical stories and provided documentation contrary to popular medical opinion.

WorldNetDaily published three current favorable articles about Morgellon's Disease, quoting Ginger Savely. See the links below.

WorldNetDaily also published a controversial article about Crohn's disease; they provided evidence that fecal contamination by dairy cows is responsible for this bacterial disease, although it is believed to be an auto-immune disease by the mainstream medical community. The article boldly states the cure is not the current standard of care. They provide evidence-based documentation to support their claim that a non-standard course of cheap antibiotics will cure this chronic debilitating illness.

WorldNetDaily does not shy away from controversial medical topics. I feel they would illuminate the current Lyme controversy and events given sufficient documentation.

I suggest you contact them and ask them to publish OUR SIDE OF THE LYME DISEASE CONTROVERSY. Ginger Savely's Morgellon's Disease article would be a logical springboard to the topic of to Lyme disease. One article below quotes Ms. Savely, " More than half of Morgellons patients have also been diagnosed with Lymes disease"

Sincerely,

Alabama resident ...where at least 32% of counties are endemic for Lyme disease based on incomplete statistics since1991
