Any non narcotic suggestions for deep bone pain for my 12 year old? She also has painful swollen glands. Thanks!

So sorry to hear she is in pain.

My assumption is she has been tested/treated for Bartonella? Especially the B. uintana form?

Oh... the letter on my keyboard after "p" doesn't work. Sorry. That should be _uintana.

The missing letter to fill in the blank there is the one after "p".

I KNOW- get it fixed TC. I did try. Got the new keyboard and finally set it up today. It doesn't work at all!

Anyhow.. sorry about that. I don't have much of an attention span tonight.

Back to the uestion.

There goes that _ thing agaion!! Geeze!

ahhhhhhhhh...

There is an oil I've used called Tei Fu oil. It comes in a bottle so tiny you could fit it in your ear probably. But it lasts a LONG time.

It is a natural pain reliever that you massage in. It is the only thing I've found to help nerve and bone pain. It also can help some muscle pain.. but not so great on joints really, for some reason.

I use to use it and would get about 6 hours relief.

I just did a uick search and found the same brand I use and at a decent price.. but you may want to check around?

You can try lavender oil too. It seemed to only help for a couple of hours... but when in pain and there is nothing else.. that is some relief.

Very light heat on the swollen glands may help too.

Also drinking lemon juice in your water will help rid your body of lactic acid that causes pain.

A hug and hand holding might make it feel better too.

I wish I had more to offer but I can't think of anything else right now. Hopefully others will.

Hope she is better soon.

[group hug]
