Hey gang,

As alwasy very curious as to what to expect. I've had Lyme 2.4 years just diagnosed 3 weeks ago.

Generally fortnuate that my first 2 years were just sore muscles. The last 4 month is whne the panic attacks, agitation, , cognitive vertigo, fatigue and insomia popped up....all in one day by the way.

So i'm on day 21 of 500 Biaxan 2x a day and i seem to be responding. had my first herx and my muscle and overall fatigue diminshed a bit after that.

My question is what has everyone's experience been when recovering? Do symptoms go away in any order? i wish the agitation would go away so i could sleep. What can i expect?

Dave

Hi Dave-

Are you on Biaxin alone? Or Biaxin and Plaquenil?

I've been going at it for a couple of years as well. Unfortunately, the treatment of lyme and co's is not very predictable. What works for one may not work for another and this can be attributed to combo of co's and the person's own genetics/tissue types...

It's good that you are feeling somewhat improved already. Just be prepared to be patient. Things can be a little rocky for a while.

It's interesting to note that generally speaking your first symptoms to leave are the most recent ones you acquired.

So... they leave in reverse order! Good luck!!

That would be nice if the reverse themselves in the order thye came...for two years i only had a myalgia in my muscles and a slight agitation....

then in June full blown agitation, insomnia, lost my short term memory and cognitive function....serioulsy all in one day.

August brought vertigo or dizziness, spacila issues.....thankfully this went away after 3 weeks.

Lymetoo, is that true ???

You KNOW that I am very new to all of this and only in the earliest stages of treatment but on my recent long distance drive home, I noticed the very opposite...

My night-vision was markedly improved as well as my ability to ENJOY music - loudly !

These were 2 of my earliest (& easily dismissed) symptoms, beginning 14+ years ago.

Yes, my increased energy was next to be noticed and that is a more recent burden but that feels like it was more of a gradual accumulation ?

Hmmm?
