Does anyone else have lyme symptoms worse in the morning? I have a hard time functioning until about 3pm. Which really makes it miserable at work.
Every morning I start out with vibrations in my legs and sparks or shocks in my arms and legs. Its hard to lift my right arm. And my head has a lot of pressure. Not always pain, but pressure. Which is followed by the brain fog.
I feel like I try to get through the day just trying not to faint. Im so tired of this feeling. Then around 3pm these feelings start to subside. They never go away completely, but they get much better as the day goes on.

This is a familiar pattern with me too. I cannot schedule any doctor appts or anything else until at least after 1:00p.m.
I am just not functional until then....with some of your symptoms, head pressure, weakness, palps,eye problems, and feeling like fainting.
Like you, it does not clear, but gets better come late afternoon......
Have no clue as to the reaason.

Most of the detoxing of neurotoxins happens during the night. One really has to pay attention to sufficient binding agents in the body to pick it all up and help it out of the body - into the toilet! The neurotoxins floating in the system makes us feel miserable. Learn to read the Organ clock - that will give you a hint what is going on. The Chinese knew about it a thousand and more years ago -

I can not express how much worse I feel when I wake up and first few hours . I am not working , and can not teach.
I may have to get a no brainer night job in a hotel or somewhere to survive. I wish I did not feel so sick the first few hours of the day . They are absolute Hell .

Mornings have always been horrible for me. I wake up in the mornings and am in tears and can barely move until after noon. Around 3 pm feels like when things start to shift a bit, but even at that I am still very dysfunctional and bedridden.
I wonder if this more a factor in Lyme or Babesia Dunicani. I have both. Just wondering what others have.

Based on blood tests I have only lyme. But you know how unreliable that is. My homeopath thinks I have Bart, Babs, and Erlich. What natural binding stuff is there? Does lemon water do that?

Binding agents are chlorella, zeolite, etc.
Mornings were always hard for me, too. Your adrenal glands get fatigued with chronic illness, so that's part of it.

Lyme disease can affect adrenal, thyroid, and other hormone levels. It is very important to have all of these tested.
Adrenal insufficiency can cause difficulty getting going in the morning. From what I understand, saliva testing is more reliable than blood testing. With saliva testing you can test your cortisol (adrenal) and other hormone function (excluding thyroid). The lab I used for this was ZRT Laboratory.
If you have blood tests done to test your thyroid function, be sure to ask for the Free T3, Free T4 (besides the T3 and T4) and thyroid antibiodies to be tested in addition to the normal panel. These tests are often overlooked but are very important for a comprehensive view.

I'm sorry you are going through this. I have the same issue, I feel the worst when I get up in the morning. My legs and feet feel heavy and stiff, and it takes me a long time to "wake up." Luckily I work as an independent consultant, so I just start to work when I can, which is about 10 am.
A couple of months ago I had 4 ionic foot baths in 2 weeks, and I noticed that after the 4 treatments I didn't have the leg/feet issues. I just bought my own foot bath system (it hasn't arrived yet) so I'm hoping that if I do this on a regular basis I'll see long-term results.

Your morning aches and ailments are coming from inflammation. During the night you are not moving. Your bodily fluids slow way down as well and you awaken with inflammation. This inflammation can be in your brain, your heart, your lungs, your joints, etc.
People are correct when they name adrenals, thyroid, hormones as part of the culprit. When these things start shutting down, the body cannot do its job.
A healthy person's immune system and bodily functions work well during the night keeping the body healthy. Healthy people do not awaken stiff, foggy brained or in pain.
But a sick person with a compromised immune system has so many things malfunctioning. Inflammation is the result. So, you wake up foggy brained, or stiff joints, or weak heart. Ever heard that getting out of the bed in the morning is extremely hard on the heart? The solution is to rotate your feet and hands to start circulation before you arise. Well, that is inflammation and the circulating starts moving the inflammation.
If you focus on ways to eliminate the inflammation, your morning symptoms will subside and even disappear.
I know. I have rheumatoid arthritis and a very aggressive form of it at that. Yet, I wake up with no stiffness or pain. This is the #1 sign that I am in remission.
That's great, but I know if I don't eat an anti-inflammatory diet, I swell in my joints. If I get too stressed out I swell in my stomach and my joints. Bad diet and stress are two causes of inflammation along with bacteria and chemical and metal toxicity. If I don't eat a good, anti-inflammatory diet, I get stiff and swollen real quick. If I get overly stressed, my stomach swells until I look 5 mths pregnant. That is inflammation in the gut caused by stress. 70% of your immune system is in your gut.
The first things I did that had a tremendous impact on my recovery were 1-changed my diet 2-started working with a doctor to detoxify.
Now, my doctor (ILADS LLMD, Rheumatologist, integrative doctor all in one)goes hard after the bacteria and parasites. I can tolerate it now, but initially I could not. I was so toxic and swollen it drove me into rheumatoid arthritis. RA is very different from other forms of arthritis. RA is auto-immune. It slowly destroys the entire body until you die. It not only destroys joints, but organs and you most commonly die from heart attacks, or breast cancer or lymphatic cancer.
Obviously keeping inflammation out of my body has to be my #1 goal for the remainder of my life.
It also has to become your goal if you want to get better. Your morning symptoms are coming from inflammation.
Work with a knowledgeable doctor about the best way to deal with your inflammation.
The following are great inflammation busters
1-cruciferous vegetables 2-Vit C 3-Vit D3 4-Magnesium 5-Selenium 6-CoQ10 7-exercise (rebounder is great. So is walking)
Some inflammation promoters:
1-Sugar 2-red meat 3-bugs 4-drugs 5-excitotoxins (preservatives and additives in your diet which excite the brain)
This is not a finite list. This is simply what I have learned and can recall quickly in my journey to heal lyme disease. There is so much more to understand and a good doctor can bring you much healing by dealing with your inflammmation triggers.
I wish I had understood the devastating role of inflammation earlier before my body slipped into RA.
