My bloodwork has improved over the past year but my pain it seems has gotten worse.

The degeneration of my disks has become ridiculous. I went for injections today to hopefully find some relief.

I've had one doctor say operate but another says he's not convinced that I would benefit from surgery because of my 18 year history with Lyme.

I'm exhausted from the discomfort. I feel as though I'll never function properly again.

Has anyone found relief or has had significant improvement? I'm dying for some good news.

Hi,
Sorry to hear of your pain. I'm in daily pain as well, most of the time severe. It radiates a lot, but I really have lower back problems.

I have disc degeneration there, bone spurs, as well as osteo arthritis and osteoporosis, all in the same area.

My neck and knees give me pain as well. I just started taking glucosamin/condroitin msm and it seems to be helping cut down on the pain.

My knees aren't giving me half the trouble they were, but they are the least affected area.

Maybe you could try it for a month or so and see if it helps. Stay strong.
God Bless,

I don't really know too much about discs but my boyfriend tried something called Vax-D. I'm not sure it will help but you might want to check into it.

There may be some controversy in this technique so you have to research if it's appropriate for you.

Oxycontin usually helps me when I'm in bad pain.

You might want to try infrared light. Some of us have been using something called the LightWorks. It has infrared & red LEDs.
