I recently received my test results--both C4a and C3a were normal. Has anyone received normal results on these tests with no decrease in symptoms?

Yes, I have also received a normal C3a with no decreased symptoms. In fact, my symptoms have become worse.
I am going to another C3a and C4a test again and I feel they will come back normal. So what does this mean? Another bump in the road for us?

Maybe it is like the CD57? Not that great of a test for some of us because it does not give us very good information to go on. I am tired of paying out of pocket for these kind of tests that give me little or no information.
I think my C3 and C4 tests were normal too and I am not feeling normal.

Mine were both normal too and my now ex-LLMD pretty much dismissed me as having lyme because of it.
Still have symptoms.
Anyone know how much these tests cost? I haven't received my insurance statement yet. It's covered, but I'm curious.

Just got mine and it was normal although my symptoms have certainly picked up the last couple of months. My recent lyme test however came back positive!

did everyone get their results done at national jewish center in denver? This is the lab that shoemaker demands the test to be done at before agreeing to a consultation with your doc on your results.
I had results done by quest accidentally, and they were well with normal range. However, when done by NJC, my C4a jumped to 28000. My C3a however was normal by both labs

Joey, mine were done by LabCorp which I think automatically sends them to Jewish Medical Research.
I hope that's true.
Also, wondering what the consult with the MD covers. Do they consider your results along with other things the LLMD tells them?
