I had my port taken out and it was a scary experience due to it breaking off and traveling to my heart.

However, Rocephin is my "pain" drug of choice...

Is there anything in between to help. I start feeling so much better on the IV but I am just not willing to chance the port again.

Could I learn to do those? I give myself b12 in the leg. I did all of the iv myself. I am a big Baby about shots but if it works for lyme pain and symptoms it would be worth the pain.
